The Time Capsule in Coatbridge is one of Scotland’s most prestigious leisure facilities. Located within the heart of Lanarkshire, the Time Capsule incorporates an ice rink, Tiny Tots Play Zone, dry sports facilities, Lifetime Fitness Centre, together with a free form leisure pool and a 25m swimming pool.

As a part of the council’s commitment to the residents and the facility, Neuman Aqua was initially involved in reviewing the existing aquatic provision and presenting options for new retrofit attractions. The brief was to provide new signature attractions that could be integrated into the existing framework utilising the existing pools and plant rooms. Neuman Aqua designed, supplied and installed Splashdown Island, a themed multilevel play structure with tipping bucket, and Europe’s first Tornado Tantrum ride.
