Neuman Aqua’s role in the development of the Bangor Aurora Leisure & Aquatic Complex for North Down Borough Council began during the early conceptual stages as a part of the client’s design team. Working in support of specialist aquatic architect S&P, Neuman Aqua’s industry product knowledge, combined with their operational awareness and experience in providing specialist design and build installation services, was essential in developing an efficient design that would work in a semi-circular shaped glazed building.

Following an extensive tender process, Neuman Aqua was awarded the design, supply and installation of a signature sidewinder water ride, two body flumes, multilevel play structure, pirate ship and toddler pool features, spa pools and rockwork theming. Neuman Aqua also designed and supplied the steel start towers and support columns, many of which were suspended from the building’s Glulam structural beams.
